Edyn Blair interview: "I went to 28 schools in 9 different states from first grade to graduating"

You started modelling pretty young but could you tell us a little about your life before you got into the industry?

I went to 28 schools in 9 different states from first grade to graduating and no, I wasn’t military kid, we just moved a lot. So, I was always a bit of an outcast but I loved books and art so I just always had that focus throughout the schools I went to. By senior year I was independently studying art for 4 classes out of the 8 I was taking and did theater, choir and creative writing and had a poem published my senior year as well as winning 2^nd in a state wide poetry competition with a performance piece. Today I still write, draw and paint. I have also learned from the experience of moving around so much not to judge people even if they judge you, because so many people never venture outside their bubbles. So why worry about it.

What first prompted you to get into the business?

I started modeling at 18 and started stripping at 19. From there I went through growing up a lot and learning a lot about life on my own. When I was 24 a young cousin passed away in an accident at 19 years old and I realized life was too short and unpredictable to be unhappy. So, I moved all the way across the country and started my life in the industry. I am so happy I did.

What was your first shoot, and what was it like?

It was for NetVideoGirls.com and they wouldn’t use my stage name. It was with Seth Gamble and it went fine – I wasn’t nervous at all and it ended really well. I did get ass smacked pretty hard and had a handprint bruise for about a week. But other than that I loved it so much!

What’s been your favourite experience in modeling?

My favorite experience was my very first exxxotica expo, meeting all the fans, getting interviewed, and the media being there. I felt like a rock star, even though no one knew who I was at the time. Even now going to the expos and meeting fans is absolutely my favorite thing about being in the industry.

Who’ve you most enjoyed working with?

I love working for Wicked because a lot of their films are features and I get to do a lot of acting. I also love working with Mike Quasar for Zero Tolerance, his shoots are fun and easy and it is always a good time. Marcus London is a stand out stud for me. He is one of my absolute favorites to work with.

Are there any types of shoot you’d love to try?

I would love to do a domination scene for Kink, I think that would be so fun.

How has the career affected your everyday life – how do people react if you tell them what you do?

I have a jeep and have been kicked out of an off-roading group after someone found out, I have also been on dates where the guy treated me like a piece of meat during the date and I had to excuse myself before it ended. I was outed to my mom and sister by someone I knew for about 3 months at a random school I went to, he emailed a full length IR scene to them. It was bad but I told them the honest truth about the industry and my career and they have accepted it. But I have had a number of people find out who I wanted to be friends with and they got weird and saw no more of them. A lot of people also just don’t care.

Do you have to work hard to keep your body in great shape?

I am currently trying really hard to get into better shape. Eating better and getting in the gym once or twice a day, six days a week.

What’s your favorite part of your body (and what would you change if you had a chance)?

I love my shoulders. I know it’s silly but I do, I’ve been working on toning up and they are my favorite thing to work. I want even bigger boobs, I would love to be a full DD (I’m a C cup right now).

Which models would you love to work with (male or female, past or present)?

I would love to work with Samantha Saint, or with Kleio Valentein (again) they are some favorite girls. Keiran Lee and Manuel Farerra for guys.

What would you like your future to hold (either in the industry or beyond it)?

I am doing a lot with my Jeep and starting to work with some companies as a spokes/promo model and potentially get my jeep sponsored as well. I would also love to design a sex toy line. I have bunches of sketches of those around.

What advice would you give to any girl considering getting into the adult industry?

Know that you can say NO. And that your agent works for you and not the other way around. You have the control and also to see yourself objectively and seek to improve your product and brand.

What do you enjoy doing with your free time?

I go backpacking and off roading, rollerblading at the beach with my dog. Drawing and writing and watching movies and lifting weights.

What is the best thing about having big boobs?

Getting to shake them in people’s faces!

And the worst?

Seatbelts.

How old were you when your boobs developed?

Almost 17.

Sexiest man in the world?

I will always love me some “fight club” Brad Pitt.
